A living room

The living room is the heart of this home. When we started this project, failing ceiling plaster had been dealt with by building a drop ceiling about a foot underneath it. This brought the height of the room under seven feet and made the room feel very cramped and uninviting. A new ceiling and herringbone tile fireplace with custom oak mantel solved that problem for this space.

 
 

A mudroom & laundry

Who wants to do laundry in a dusty basement? This laundry room features a custom built locker with bench and shoe storage and is the perfect place to take off your muddy boots after spending the afternoon in the greenhouse and gardens.

Plenty of sunny spots to grow anything you like surround a greenhouse with paver patio and attached chicken coop.

Why we remount all our prints and lithographs

Remounting antique and vintage prints ensures only acid-free, archival materials are used that can minimize aging, yellowing, and damage to the piece.

Started stripping doors at the Plass House. All of the wood trim and closet doors were painted sometime mid-century. We are going to bring a little bit of of the original wood back by refinishing all of the doors and windows. Plus, wood next to paint
